READY TO FILM
Rehearsals for Jet Slade have been going great and filming for the next few scenes have already started. New cast members like Lynsey Jayne (left) and Emma Preston (right) have been introduced to the film and have excelled both in their performances as actors and have really brought their characters to life (take a look at Emma's page).
Stephen Johnson (seen here in the middle) has over exceeded his performance and we really can't wait for you to see his character.

Thanks for taking the time to read our post.

CHARACTER PROFILE - FROM MODELLING TO ACTING

Emma is one of the latest cast members to join Jet Slade.
We have a lot of rising stars thriving out of our camp, and when we see the potential in someone we like to encourage and assist them by putting them forward in the limelight.

CHARISMA
When I approached Emma to play her part, she was ecstatic!
We had a long conversation over the phone, but as we were talking I could feel the excitement from her, and that was just over the phone. I knew I had made the right choice. She was already a big follower  of my previous work and was excited to be a part of it.

Being part of Jet Slade has really boosted Emma's confidence and her personality is really beginning to shine. There is something very special about the cast in Jet Slade, they all bring something with them.
I believe that everyone has something special inside of them, it's just finding it and letting it shine.
With Emma, she always said that" she'd love to be a model". What a better way than to get her started by giving her a role in Jet Slade... her unique look has really blossomed. She takes direction well and this can only get better the more she gets used to being in front of the lens.
Emma has great symmetry, she is very slim and slender, but don't let that fool you. Although the character she plays is vulnerable, she has a lot more skills up her sleeve than you'd expect.

She loves fitness and has taken part in many charity events raising money for special causes.
She also does Thai Boxing and will also be taking part in a charity women's boxing event to raise money for the York Special Baby Care Unit, and is currently in training for it, which will take place in York on December 2015.

Emma is also a very keen Pole Dancer and has her own pole at home, which she uses to keep in shape. Although very slender, her figure is that of an athlete and yet has the poise of  a model.

"Thank you for taking time to read. It's a page me and my family created to raise awareness because it's a conditions which is very much plaguing nearly every generation of our family and no one has ever heard of it". Emma.

Perry syndrome is a progressive brain disease - Parkinsonism with Alveolar Hypoventilation and Mental Depression.
MORE AWARENESS IS NEEDED FOR THIS RARE DISEASE!!
The diagnosis is based on clinical findings and molecular genetic testing of DCTN1, the only gene known to be associated with Perry syndrome. Each child of an individual with Perry syndrome has a 50% chance of inheriting the mutation.
CHARACTER BUILDING
With Emma's credentials, we believe that she can and will do well in whatever she pursues as she is a very talented, sincere and genuine individual (she could play either lead or supporting actor).

 Screen grab from Jet Slade

ACTING
Emma has enjoyed the experience of starring in Jet Slade. The rehearsals have been a big boost to her confidence, meeting new people and making new friends.

We wish Emma all the best for the future.

STORYLINE & SCRIPTS - REHEARSALS & STAND-IN
With Ed the director frantically working hard on writing the storyline and scripts for Phase Two of Jet Slade, and with the introduction of new cast members, rehearsals have been going as scheduled.

Scripts are usually sent out a couple of weeks prior to rehearsals, as to give the cast a chance to read through their scripts and prepare themselves.

Stephen Johnson returns once again to reprise his role as Kinky.

STAND-IN
Sometimes cast members can't make rehearsals due to other commitments, so it helps to have a Stand-In. A cast member is always at hand to help out, this is convenient as it helps to keep the flow of rehearsals on time, especially if you're working to a tight timetable.

Katie Wood plays a Rookie in the film, but was very happy to help out as a stand-in by being an anchor for Steve to play-off. It also gives the director an idea of how the scene is going to look.

KEEPING IN CONTACT
We also have a private Facebook group page (for cast members only), which we use as a message board for the cast to check. This is very useful as they can check it and reply when they can.

Below are a few images of Stephen rehearsing with Katie (as a Stand-In).

NOT SEEN OUR TRAILER YET?
VIEW IT HERE!
Phase Two will be just as huge as Phase One of Jet Slade: Rise of the Black Hood.
New characters have joined the cast of Jet Slade and will be making their debut appearance.
Rehearsals.
Their scripts have been written and sent out to them and rehearsals are being arranged.
This project is bringing out the best in the actors, considering none of them have had any acting experience. Director Edmahoo really has his work cut out for him.

Ayesha Latif makes her first appearance as Tiffany Skales, a budding reporter.
Ayesha has a very challenging role and is really looking forward to the challenge. She has all the right characteristics to become a great actress and we hope to see a lot more from her in the future.

Jessica Wood makes her debut appearance as a SLADE recruit fresh out of the academy.
She is tough, keen and has the right ingredient to become a great Enforcer. She begins her fight training and conditioning for her character in the next couple of weeks.

Hena Mikael is our new Pathologist and will also be making her debut appearance.
This is going to be a challenge for her, but Hena is really keen to take on the role and make her character her own.

Lynsey Jayne will also be making her debut appearance as a sleek and deadly ruthless assassin. She is very keen to get started and can't wait to start filming. We can't wait to show you her in action.

He holds a 2nd Degree Dan, Black Belt in Freestyle Kickboxing and has been a student of Martial Arts for over 36 years. Seen here with his long time Sifu, Reg Jones.

He's not one for being in front of the camera and prefers to be behind the scenes.
One of his wishes is to meet up with Directors and Writers Josh Wheddon, Zack Snyder, Angelina Joli, Lexi Alexander and probe their minds into help guiding him to enlightenment of improving his skills as a Writer and Director.
So if you come across this page and you're good friends with any of them, put in a good word for him.
He is also inspired by musicians: Alan Silvesti, Steve Jablonsky, James Horner, Brian Tyler, Henry Jackman and too many to mention.

Welcome to our News page, here you will get up to date info on what's happening with our film 'Jet Slade.'

So what's the film all about?... Have you ever said to yourself, "I wish I could do that, I've always wanted to be in something like that, but never had the chance to do anything like that."
With so many actors striving to make a career out of acting, only a selected handful ever get the chance to actually get pass the audition selection or even get a part... Whether it be in TV, Film, Commercials etc. I can understand why there are so many people setting up their own Indie Film Companies, as it seems to be the only way they can showcase their works...

Jet Slade is about 'you'..., taking the ordinary person and doing just that... Yes, of course it has a story!

Jet Slade isn't filled with your top 'A class' actors like your Tom Cruises or Sigourney Weavers.
It's just ordinary people with no acting experience, who have been trained to do a job, just like anyone else, it's just not done on a Hollywood budget! (We smile to ourselves).

Jet Slade is a concept and we hope the idea will grow into something bigger and better, so watch this space!

Check out some of the cast of Jet Slade and keep coming back to us and catching up with what's happening in our updates.

You can find us on Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter.

Wag Doll:
Here is our latest promotional poster, it shows Wag Doll who plays Jet promoting our film.

You're probably used to seeing Wag Doll in combat gear/costume as her character is very strong and tough!

Also seen here in a prepost edit (No Sound), it just goes to show how much training Wag Doll has gone through in order to perform her fighting style and technique to make this action clip look easy and seamless!

She has had no former martial arts or fight conditioning training and has excelled in every technique she has been put through.

With filming and production well on the way, director Edmahoo is still on the look out for new members to join the cast. He is currently making arrangements and preparing for his next scene rehearsal and filming.

He has quite a lot to do as he is writing, choreographing, promoting, producing, editing, filming and doing so much more between his very busy schedule...

Lynsey:
Meet Lynsey, she is our latest member to join the Jet Slade cast.
Lynsey has a background in Martial Arts and holds a black belt in Freestyle Kickboxing, she will be playing an assassin. We really look forward to seeing her in action as rehearsals start soon and her costume is being designed as we write.

Humphrey:
Such a great person, we had fun filming his interview. See part of his interview below with Tony Deane...

Humphrey TV Spot (question 3 from his interview with Tony)

Humphrey is one of the more experienced actors on set, and plays a very complexed character. He is really having fun, but also it is a challenge to him as director Edmahoo has really given him some challenging scenes which has taken Humphrey out of his comfort zone.

He really excels when it comes to filming and we can't wait to show you him in his true form when we release our proper first trailer for Jet Slade. Keep a look out for Humphrey in the future as he is definitely going to go far!

We will be releasing more of his Interview and TV spots very soon.

Ewa:
Ewa plays Nat, and has been quite dominant in a lot of our posts recently...

Edmahoo has a saying, "There is a method to my madness." And he's not wrong, as when things always never seem to make sense, he works his magic and things become more clearer. So the cast and crew trust his judgement...

You can see Ewa in action in the clip above (Humphrey's interview), or if you missed her TV Spot with Tony you can watch it right here:

Josie:
Don't let her appearance fool you! At 5ft 8", practises Kickboxing and is into fitness, Josie is one of the shyest, yet sweetest person you could ever meet.

Director Edmahoo saw this and wanted to take her out of her comfort zone, so he turned her into a quiet, but deadly 'ruthless assassin!'

We can't show you too much, you'll have to wait for the trailer, but here's a little clip of her to the left being trained by director Edmahoo with a snippet of her in costume to the right. She appears to be carrying a silencer pistol.

 Jack:
Not much has been said about Jack, but he plays an effective part. So look out for him in the film.

He has a fighting background in Kickboxing, Boxing and has trained in Jiu Jitsu. We can't wait to show you him in action!
Here is Jack in action in the opening scene of this promo filmed, edited and produced by director Edmahoo.

Katie:
Since joining the cast of Jet Slade last year, Katie has been inspired and has looked into joining a casting agency to take her acting career a little further. We wish her all the best.

She has been playing women's Rugby for the past few years and now works as a Physio to the players. That not being enough, Katie has also taken up Boxing and Kickboxing... "We'd hate to be on the wrong side of her, if we ever got her angry." She has such a great personality and strives to be the best at what she does. We really wish her all the best in her career. You can get a glimpse of her in some of the above clips.

Zoey
Zoey plays a key role, in introducing nearly all of the main characters together in one scene of Jet Slade.

Zoey has been very busy with her own career as a Model and has competed in 'The Miss Leeds'  competition.

Above is a screen grab of Zoey on the set of Jet Slade.

Stephen:
We wish you could be there with us in rehearsals as you'd see how much of a great guy he is! He is so funny, he brings the cast alive.

A professional Dancer, Stephen has performed all over Europe and teaches his skill to others. We are honoured to have him star in our film. He is another one to look out for. Watch this space!

Roman:
Roman has had some acting experience on stage, and plays an intricate part in the film. Rehearsals and filming have been going well with Roman and he is such a great person to work with. He also has a kickboxing background.

Hena:
Apart from being introduced, not much has been said about Hena. Director Edmahoo seems to be keeping her under wraps.

We're sure all will be revealed very soon... we do know that she is very excited to be part of Jet Slade.

Emma:
Emma filmed her scenes a couple of months ago and we will be having her back in the studio to add some extra voiceovers to parts of her scene.

Emma has never done any acting before, but she played her part perfectly in rehearsals, and to see her in costume and on set when filming, she pulled it off to a 'T'.

We also have a great film crew and people working with us behind the scenes...

Martha:
Martha is our Make-Up Artist and is fantastic at what she does. We are very honoured to have such a young beautiful and talented lady on board of Jet Slade.
Here's just a snippet of some of her work...

Stunt Team
We have a great stunt team on board that director Edmahoo trains with and trusts, as his main priority is to make sure the cast are safe when it comes to action and fight scenes. So everything is systematically thought of and choreographed before any of the cast are involved in any of the fight or action scenes.

Chris:
Holds a black belt in Freestyle Kickboxing and trains with Ed, the director on a regular basis, so the trust and bond they have when it comes to the safety and techniques of the cast are second to none.

As seen here in this screen grab when he's confronted by Jet.

Everything, down to posing and style of each character is thought of by director Edmahoo. This is one of the important key factors he was keen to get right in his images and on screen.

Matt:
Matt is also Ed's right hand man when it comes to choreographing fight scenes and stunts. We can't wait to show you the fight scene he has with Humphrey, it's awesome!

Here he is in a previous clip we showed you earlier being kick in the chest by Jet, seen here.
Our post has been added to 'Set Design Magazine' We are very pleased about it!
