Black Widow Promotions made history when two Legends of Muay Thai 'Frankie Hudders of England Vs Diego Calzolari' of Italy met in the ring on Saturday 23rd April 2016. It was obvious from the start that both fighters looked in great physical shape and had been training very hard. Both fighters had total respect for each other and showed great sportsmanship in the ring... True ambassadors to the sport.

Director Edmahoo has worked with Yogendra Parekh on many occasions (they both have a great respect for each other as colleagues and have become great friends over the years) and was honoured when he was asked if he would film this spectacular Muay Thai event.

 Tony Deane: MC, Commentator, Presenter
One person you may notice a lot on the Muay Thai circuit is Tony Deane. Tony has MC'd on many Muay Thai events and is renowned for his professionalism and flare that people in the Thai community have come accustomed to. Ed and Tony go back many years and it was Tony who introduced Ed to Yogi. Not only does Tony just MC, he has a huge library of knowledge on lots of the fighters in that head of his, he is also well schooled in the sport of Boxing and Muay Thai, of which he uses when he's sat in the commentary booth. Not only has Tony mastered the art in Commentating and MC'ing in front of thousands of people, he has taken his skills another step further (with the assistance of Ed) and started presenting.
Below is a News Round-Up/Review of a Black Widow show which is presented and written by Tony.

LAST MAN STANDING & SUPER FIGHTS
The event was held at the SUPREME Banqueting & Conference with a total of thirty bouts on the Fight Card. It was an all day event with the Junior bouts kicking off the show, with Last Man Standing, Super Fights and Main Fight in the evening. It also featured one MMA bout... If you've just watched Tony's Review above, then you will know what to expect when you go to a Black Widow event, as he explains it to a 'T'.
Because of the vast amount of fights, Ed has to decide what goes on the DVD and sometimes ring entrances are missed off due to the length of the show, with the show usually being on two disks. The advantage of writing posts like this and doing reviews, you get to see parts of the show that you might have missed if you weren't at the event on the day. With nearly everyone these days having a mobile phone or some form of Android device, sometimes the footage is already up online before Ed reaches home... that's social media for ya! But it's not the same as watching an edit from the show as you get the great picture and brilliant sound and commentary that comes with it... You're right in the action!
Diego's Ring Entrance
Diego Calzolari (Italy)
As Diego entered the walkway towards the ring, he was greeted with a rapturous welcome. He has visited the UK on many occasions, as most of his fighters have fought on Black Widow shows before. He looked very confident as he entered the ring and showed his respect to the judges. His demeanour was that of... he'd done this before on many occasions and showed no signs of  being nervous.
Frankie Hudders (England)
Alex Forman (on Commentary) had been talking about this fight all night, and he was just as excited as the audience to see the fight between Frankie and Diego!

LAST MAN STANDING
There were some great bouts on the night and everyone fought to the best of their ability.
The four man tournament 'Last Man Standing' was no exception!... With £1000 prize money up for grabs each contestant came to win, but there could only be one winner. Look out for the DVD of this spectacular event 'Coming Soon' in May 2016.

Below (in no particular order) are all of the Posters used on the day to promote each  bout.
